BJ Carpets is a professional carpet fitting service based in Bedfordshire, covering Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

With over 40 years of experience in the trade, we bring a level of knowledge and care to every job that only comes with time. Most of our work is residential, but our background includes commercial projects too — so whatever the scale, we know what’s involved.

Every fitting is done properly. That means the right preparation, the right materials, and a clean finish that’s built to last. No shortcuts, no rushed jobs — just reliable work you can count on.

Not every carpet suits every room, and not every price point is right for every situation. With decades in the trade, we can help you understand the difference — whether that’s a hardwearing, practical choice for a hallway or stairs, a softer option for a bedroom, or something mid-range that balances quality and cost across a whole property. Good advice at the start saves money and disappointment later, and we’d rather point you in the right direction than sell you something that won’t perform where you need it to.

We take care of the whole job, not just the carpet. From measuring up and helping you choose the right materials, to fitting, laying underlay, replacing gripper and finishing with door bars and trims — everything is handled with the same attention to detail from start to finish.

We work in your home, so we treat it that way. That means arriving when we say we will, keeping things tidy, and leaving you with a result you’re happy with. It’s how we’ve built our reputation, and it’s how every job gets done.
